Under its Von Mühlenen brand of cheeses, Cremo wins the top prize of "World Champion Cheese 2015" at the World Cheese Awards 2015 in Birmingham!
Swiss company Cremo, under its Von Mühlenen brand name, World Champion Cheese at the World Cheese Awards for the fifth time, having already triumphed in 2006, 2005, 2002 and 1992 (including one second place in 2008), has won the top prize of "World Champion Cheese 2015" with its Gruyère AOP Premier Cru cheese (Châtonnaye).
This year, Cremo carried off most of the prizes for the Gruyère AOP, Vacherin Fribourgeois AOP and Raclette Mazot cheeses, three of which were awarded gold! The results achieved in gold, silver and bronze thus demonstrate the extremely high quality of the cheeses marketed by the Cremo company.
More than 2,700 types of cheeses were presented at the World Cheese Awards 2015 at the BBC Good Food Show in Birmingham.
